Ema Vraneš

Ema Vraneš was born in Belgrade in 1997 and started playing the cello at the age of seven. After graduating from the music school “Mokranjac” in Belgrade, where she studied with Professor Đorđe Milošević, she completed her bachelor studies at the Anton Bruckner University in Linz, Austria.

She has taken part in numerous competitions, among which she has won first prizes at the National competition of Serbia (2015), International string competition Stringfest (2013), and String competition in Nis (2010).

She has participated in the master classes of Dejan Božić, Niall Brown, Romain Garioud, and Ksenija Janković. During her studies in Austria, she has become a member of the youth orchestra Wiener Jeunesse Orchester in 2017. After graduating from the Anton Bruckner University in Linz, in the class of Professor Andreas Pözlberger, she continued her master studies with Professor Ksenija Janković in Detmold, Germany.
