FIRST STAGE (total playing time 30 min)

E) International Jeunesses Musicales Competition Belgrade for its 50th anniversary - dedicated piece to the 50th IJMC by Nimrod Borenstein: Odysseus op. 87 for violoncello and piano(music sheets will be available soon)

FINALS

A) One of the following Concertos:

- P. I. Tchaikovsky: Variations on a Rococo Theme, op. 33
- A. Dvorak: Cello Concerto in B minor, op. 104
- E. Lalo: Cello Concerto, D minor
- D. Shostakovich: Cello Concerto No. 1 in E-flat major, op. 107
- D. Shostakovich: Cello Concerto No. 2, op. 126
- S. Prokofiev: Symphony-Concerto in E minor, op. 125

 

The applications deadline is February 15th, 2020.
All pieces must be performed from memory including compulsory piece. The repeats should be played if the performance time may not exceeds.
 The jury may interrupt the competitor who exceeds stipulated time. No piece can be repeated during the Competition.
