Mina Zakić was born in 1991 in Belgrade. She started playing cello at the age of 7 at the Music School "Kosta Manojlović" in Zemun, in the class of Professor Nada Jovanović. After primary music education, she attended classes at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, in the class of Professor Imre Kalman.
At the age of 14, she enrolled at the School at the Tchaikovsky Moscow Conservatory (the level of four years of secondary music education), and then at the Conservatory, in the class of Professor Alexei Nikolayevich Seleznev. After finishing her studies at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory, she enrolled in master-solo studies at the High School of Music in Detmold (Germany), in the class of Professor Ksenija Janković, which she completed in 2018.
She has won the highest awards at national and federal competitions, as well as at international competitions - in Austria, Germany, Slovakia, Moscow. She has performed as a soloist in prestigious concert halls in Belgrade (Kolarac Endowment, SANU Gallery, Progress, Ethnographic Museum, City Assembly, Guarnerius Hall), in Novi Sad (Matica Srpska, Serbian National Theater, Synagogue), at leading concert halls. podiums in Moscow, St. Petersburg, as well as at music festivals in Germany, Italy and Spain.
She has collaborated with numerous orchestras in Serbia, the European Youth Symphony Orchestra, the Russian Philharmonic, Music "Viva" and chamber ensembles from Russia ("Return", "Kremlin" ...).
