Nimrod Borenstein, a composer whose work ''Odysseus'' op. 87 for violoncello and piano is a compulsory piece at the Second stage of the 50th International Jeunesses Musicales Belgrade, congratulates Christina Bensi (Greece), a winner of the special award for the best performance of the compulsory piece ''Odysseus''!

A British-French-Israeli composer whose music is widely performed throughout Europe, the US, Canada, Australia and Japan, wrote that he had the pleasure to hear 13 performances of his piece by the cellists admitted to the Second stage of the IJMC and with her fantastic performance Christina Bensi won the special award for the best performance of ''Odysseus'' at the 50th International Jeunesses Musicales Belgrade.

Our pleasure is to have Mr. Borenstein's piece as an obligatory part of the 50th IJMC program, and we are honored to have him as a special guest in Belgrade at the Final stage next year in March!
